Got to know stuff, version one

Here is the document that Aditi sent me on "Got to Know Stuff." This has my revisions. Please check it and let me know if I screwed anything up. Microsoft Word formatting is problematical on this so I am posting two versions. The Word Format is easier to make changes to make changes to but you may find formatting errors creeping in as you move from machine to machine. This should not be the case with the PDF and you can add comments to the PDF in Acrobat. If you just want to print it the PDF is recommended.
